3. Determine your budget. Once you have an idea of what rooms in your home are getting new floors, the type of floors you are considering and companies you are interested in hiring (or if you are DIY’ing), it’s time to determine your budget. It should also indicate when the project should begin and approximately how long it should take to complete.
7. Project begins. The crew will arrive on-site and begin replacing your floors, per the contract. 
8. Project completed. Hooray! You have new floors. Flooring is a long-term investment. In order to keep them in excellent condition, be sure to clean and care for your floors often.
