Is it better to either install the new hardwood flooring or refinish the existing one?

Well, it depends on the different factors. Age would be the determining factor whether to install or refinish the existing hardwood floor. The condition is another important factor to be considered. If the hardwood floor is warped, bended or distorted, it definitely needs to be replaced. Your budget will also determine your choice.

Otherwise, you can save up for the project. Then, you can easily go for the installation of new floors as refinishing cannot be done.

3. If Refinished A Great Many Times:
If your existing hardwood floor has been refinished a great many times, there is no way another finishing would fix it – It will look old.
